Templates
Section Purpose:
This documentation describes templates - patterns that feed Template (RDT) prescriptions. It contains information about template properties, its variants, and managing the list.
Basic Information
Section titled “Basic Information”A template is a ready-made composition pattern used to issue Template (RDT) prescriptions for adults. Instead of composing a formula from scratch, the physician selects a template and its variant.
Each template has the following properties:
- Name - the official name of the template.
- Peripheral administration - whether the template can be administered peripherally (yes/no).
- Central administration - whether the template can be administered centrally (yes/no).
Template Variants
Section titled “Template Variants”A single template can have multiple variants differing in volume and composition. Each variant includes, among others:
- Name
- Min vol. - minimum volume.
- Max vol. - maximum volume.
- Non-protein kcal - amount of non-protein calories.
- Amino acids
- Fats
- Glucose
- Nitrogen
- as well as electrolytes and other composition values.
Variants are added, edited, and cloned within a template.
Managing Templates
Section titled “Managing Templates”In the templates view you can:
- Add a new template and its variants.
- Edit an existing template.
- Clone a template as a starting point for a new one.
- Archive templates that are no longer used.
Importing and exporting templates
Section titled “Importing and exporting templates”The system allows importing and exporting templates in CSV format directly from the templates table.
- CSV import - use the “Import” button and point to a CSV file conforming to the required template.
- CSV export - use the “Export” button to download the current list of templates.

Who can add and edit templates?
Only users with permissions from the Templates category (creation, editing, archiving).
